Adrienne Deezul

Not only is this woman one of the fastest rising up and coming SL musical stars. She is hugely talented on her guitar, vocally gifted in her singing and a true pleasure to listen to. I have a very very picky musical palate and I admit that I often don't like what I am hearing but honestly, with Ms. Adrienne Deezul this is not the case, at all.
I find myself, so often lately, walking around my house singing one of her songs I heard her sing recently.
"Blood on the sea" I hum even now. Not a very cheery song to be singing to myself around the kitchen while I'm making dinner, it might be in poor taste even, but I cannot seem to stop myself from singing it - it is quite catchy. I just wish I had her deep, throaty - sexy rasp like Melissa Etheridge, Janis Joplin and well... Jordan Reyne. Jordan being Adrienne Deezul's real life av :P
Adrienne, fortunate for us, is here at Oblivion Club every single Saturday Morning at 8AM SLT. Now before you start whining about the hour please keep in mind that Adrienne's real life self lives in Germany and it is much later there for her and she has an old neighbor who complains if she is kept up after her 6:30pm bed time.
We don't need this fantastic singer arrested for disturbing the peace, but then maybe in a jail cell we'd get some new dark material! I'd be standing outside the prison flicking my bic. Yeah, she's that good. Saw your arm off to buy concert tickets, good. So before you go sawing off a limb just come on over to Oblivion club and check her out next Saturday morning at 8am. Since you missed her today, slacker.

Tyrus Oblers has returned after a long absence of performing in SL, now he returns to bring a new phase of his work and his own self. He has managed to find his own voice and his own beat, performing new material of his own along with some good covers. His influences start with the Irish singer Damien Rice followed by other artist with similar styles such as Glen Hansard, David Ford, and others. Now a days, Tyrus lives in New York city, following the dream of becoming an actor, and through his art, here in SL, he hopes to find support to aid his situation so he can continue to reach his goal: become one of the best artists ever known. Strum Diesel LIVE @ Oblivion Club on Friday 22 @ 10am

This Friday @ Oblivion Club we are proud to announce that Strum Diesel will be here to perform live for us. Strum began song writing and performing at 13 and soon began to realize that performing was his destiny. Personal experience is the primary source for subject matter in Strum's work. When he's not lamenting his heartbreak, or the heartbreak he has created, his voice is dedicated to explicating socio-political issues that are constantly perverted or altogether ignored by mainstream media.
While Strum is primarily a songwriter - he has an extensive list of covers as well including songs by U2, Ani Difranco, Coldplay, Green Day and Radiohead.
